Can clients book a colour service that takes three hours?

Yes. A service can carry several lengths at different prices, so a root touch-up, a full colour and a balayage can each be their own duration on the same menu. The calendar only offers slots long enough for the length the client picked, so a three hour balayage never lands in a one hour gap.

How do I stop no-shows on long appointments?

Two things do most of the work. Turn on a deposit, as a percentage or the full price, so a long slot is held by money rather than a promise, and leave the automatic reminders on: a confirmation immediately, one 24 hours before and one two hours before, on WhatsApp.

My clients always ask for a specific stylist. Does that work?

Each stylist is their own bookable resource with their own calendar, colour, photo and service list, so a client can pick the person they always see. Anyone who does not mind picks "any available" and is placed automatically with whoever is free.

Can I take deposits without a card machine or a bank account?

Yes, through Whish. The client sees your Whish number and the exact amount on the review step with a copy button and a shortcut that opens the Whish app, and you confirm receipt in your own app. Mawaeed never touches the money.

What if a client does not use email?

Turn off the email requirement in your booking policy and people book with a name and a phone number only. Those bookings get WhatsApp reminders instead of email confirmations, which is what most salon clients in Lebanon actually read.
